Senior Sales Associate (Store in-charge)

Job Descriptoin

  • Overseeing all aspects of store operations
  • Meeting sales targets of the shop & brands
  • Ensuring high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation & upkeep
  • Managing stocks in the location, determining effective ways of liquidating ageing stocks & minimizing loss of inventory
  • Achieving sales target of the shop & brands
  • Understanding customer needs & recommending suitable product/brand
  • Selling product to customers as per customer needs
  • Up selling/ Cross selling, where necessary
  • Maintaining customer relationships in order to build long term brand loyalty
  • Handling new launches, promotion of products & visual merchandising
  • Receiving payments, issuing receipts & handling cash
  • Generating Daily Sales Report
  • Maintaining general cleanliness, hygiene standards & visual displays
  • Adhering to Standard Operating procedures
  • Participating in Shop Inventory & ordering stocks
  • Implementing CRM at the store level & providing relevant feedback
  • Coordinating with Customer Care Centre for after sales service
  • On the floor training & providing support to sales associates


  • Graduate or a Diploma in business administration, sales or related courses
  • Prior experience handling a store
  • Prior experience in high end Optical/Eyewear Retail stores/chains preferred
  • Team handling experience/skills
  • Excellent communication (including spoken and written English)
  • Strong selling skills & customer oriented
  • Confident, friendly & engaging personality
  • Well-mannered and polite
  • Immaculately groomed & physically fit
  • Good numerical ability and IT skills
