We are experiencing continued growth and an increasing workload. Hence, we are now seeking applications from an enthusiastic, experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our business, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will possess relevant experience in Electrical design and supervision and demonstrate aptitude for construction activities or previous site experience involving work within the building or construction sectors in Abu Dhabi. The initial role for this position will be based on-site on a major building project. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordination and working with the design team and contractor
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and company representatives
  • Undertaking various engineering tasks on site
  • Review submissions from construction contractors and suppliers
  • Carry out inspections, witness tests and monitor quality for various works on site
  • Assist with planning and scheduling of site activities
  • Carry out safety observations

Key skills sought from the successful candidate will include (but are not limited to):

  • Proven electrical design and supervision experience in Abu Dhabi
  • Excellent knowledge of ADDC and ADCD regulations
  • Ability to review and respond to RFIs
  • Aptitude to assist with contract administration
  • Practical ability to complete site inspections (Electrical)
  • Rigour for management of QA
  • Strong stakeholder management and client liaison skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Positive safety attitude

You will be stepping into a role which will enable you to develop beyond your previous experience. You will be a tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer, with the ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team.
