Position Snapshot

Location: Dubai, UAE
Company: Purina MENA – Head Office

Bachelor’s Degree

3-5 years’ experience in either Marketing or Communication, preferable F&B experience

Position Summary

Design and execute the Specialist Channel marketing plan of the MENA region, within the Integrated Commercial Planning process through effective coordination with Channel & Category Sales Development population & Category Management, Central Marketing team and leveraging on consumer insights, generated globally or locally

A day in the life of...
  • Leveraging consumer / customer insight, market dynamics via market research and market visits for input into the Innovation & Renovation pipeline and business development in the region
  • Identify the right communication investment strategy and ensure successful implementations of consumer campaigns and promotions and all new product launches
  • Identify and organize internal and external initiatives and events in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to build advocacy and consumer education programs in the market
  • Monitor the platform financials including Trade Performance / COGS evolution, mix management and drive relevant actions i.e. price corrections to achieve agreed financial targets
  • Recommend and propose the optimum PFME support to drive platform growth and profitability. Full responsibility of channel dedicated marketing budget phasing and management
  • Manage agencies supporting the marketing / category execution plan in alignment with deliverables
  • Develop and deliver category product knowledge & new launch trainings to enhance capabilities of Channel & Category Sales Development and Sales team
  • Coordinate an input in the process of packaging development in collaboration with the central team and regulatory (good knowledge of Arabic language would be appreciated)
What will make you successful
  • 3-5 years’ experience in either Marketing or Communication, preferable F&B experience
  • English (Arabic will be considered a plus)
  • Marketing and Communication / Business BA degree from a reputable university
  • Strong Initiative and entrepreneurial approach in the role and manage projects with drive and result focus
  • Agility, curious to learn about the category, product ranges and the other functions to be able to anticipate the needs of stakeholders and quickly integrate in a dynamic business and category
  • Resilience to approach with enthusiasm all tasks required and work in a very dynamic and multicultural environment
  • Capable to adapt messages to different types of internal and external stakeholders
  • Genuinely passionate about the category and the wellbeing of pets and pet owners with a personal drive to positive impact the environment/society
